Duchess of Cambridge’s cruise ship to appear in TV series

Royal Princess, the Princess Cruises ship named in the honour of Catherine the Duchess of Cambridge, is set to become the star of its own documentary.

The documentary series will be divided into six parts and broadcast in early 2017, and will undoubtedly provide an interesting insight into the day to day running of the mammoth 114,000 tonne ship, where 1,400 crew service 1,800 passengers.

And, as Cruise Critic reports, the series will be narrated by Hugh Bonneville, popularly known of his portrayal of Robert Crawley in the popular series Downton Abbey.

The Royal Princess is quite a ship boasting a 280-seat entertainment facility with a studio and café space dedicated to performances and events, among other features.

Check out the video above to go back to the incredible moment where the Duchess of Cambridge christened the ship. The event back in 2013 was quite a glamorous affair!
