1960s time capsule: Take a tour of this preserved gem in Canberra
It’s not every day that you get to feel like you’ve travelled back in time, but this home in Griffith, ACT, gives you the opportunity to do exactly that.
This property, located on one of Canberra’s most highly sought-after streets, the tree-lined Jansz Crescent, is an absolute stunner and went under the hammer last weekend.
The home was originally bought in 1961 and has been held by the same family for the last 57 years.
The owner, who was understandably sad to see her home go will take some solace in the $1.6 million selling price which was eventually settled on.
