Inside “Offspring” star Asher Keddie’s $2 million country house
Offspring star Asher Keddie has recently sold her charming country home for in excess of $2 million, and when you see inside, it’s not hard to understand why it fetched such a hefty price.
The sprawling 43ha property, located in the Macedon Ranges in Victoria and first purchased by Keddie and her artist husband Vincent Fantauzzo in 2014, was put on the market in December for $2.15 million and sold for an undisclosed sum.
Speaking to Property Confidential in November, Keddie described the Scandinavian-style barn house as a “special property”.
“[The home] has seen our family grow and given us immense joy. Its beauty is abundant, and it’s been a place of great creativity, inspiration and relaxation for us.
“The lofty structure of the house gave us the perfect opportunity to create contemporary, minimalist spaces with large picture windows to enjoy the incredible landscape from every room.”
The main residence features three bedrooms, two bathrooms, an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area and a balcony overlooking the grounds. Downstairs, there are two stables and a number of store and tack rooms for horses, of which Keddie owns five.
