5 Things you need to do in Australia

Living in such a beautiful country, it’s hard not to take it for granted sometimes. Take advantage of Australia’s wonders with these five spectacular, must-do experiences.

1. See Whitehaven Beach

Whether you go by seaplane or boat, the white sands and turquoise waters of Whitehaven Beach are a must-see. It has been named Queensland’s cleanest beach and the sands squeak beneath your feet.

2. Dive/Snorkel the Great Barrier Reef

It’s named one of the natural world wonders for a reason: snorkelling the Great Barrier Reef is guaranteed to be one of the coolest things you’ll ever do. Spot eels, reef sharks, sea turtles and dugongs, not to mention hundreds and hundreds of fish, while you explore the coral reefs.

3. Explore Sydney’s beaches

There’s more to Sydney beaches than just the iconic Bondi Beach: There’s the Shark beach at Nielsen park (don’t let the name deter you), Watson’s Bay, Parsley Bay, and Milk Beach, just to name a few.

4. Swim with the Dolphins in Monkey Mia

Dolphins frequent the remote beach location of Monkey Mia in western Australian, which is why you should too. Dolphins come up close and personal, right up on shore, and you might even get a chance to feed one.

5. Go to the most Northern Point

Check out Australia’s most northern point, Cape York. The beautiful tip features hiking paths, so you can drive, boat or walk to Australia’s beautiful northernmost point.
