Winter temperatures to soar to 32°C next week
At a time of the year where we’re used to reaching for a warm jacket, parts of Australia have been warned to brace for the warmest winter temperatures in almost a decade.
Temperatures in Brisbane are expected to reach the mid-30s, with balmy weather expected for much of Queensland and NSW over the course of the week.
Cold fronts that are bringing cooler temperatures to Western Australia are running out of puff before they reach the east coast, or moving to Melbourne instead, which is expected to be the main cause of the above average temperatures.
The weather will be a little more seasonal in South Australia, Victoria and WA.
How are you finding the weather this winter?
