14 photos offer rare glimpse of London’s secret gardens
British gardening produces some of the most incredible floral creations in the world, so it might seem strange to learn that many of London’s most spectacular gardens are private. But once every year, 200 of these secret gardens are opened to visitors.
And as you can see in the gallery above, the results are incredible.
Taking place on the 18th and 19th of June, Open Garden Squares Weekend displays some of the best in British gardening, from historic, traditional themes to newer ideas.
We’ve showcased 14 of the most incredible images from the festival in the gallery above. As you can see, some of these gardens have to be seen to be believed.
