Count Nikolai shares Princess Mary's "survival list" for living abroad
Count Nikolai has shared the "survival list" his Australian-born aunt, Princess Mary, gave him before his big move Down Under.
The Count, 24, who is currently undertaking his studies at University of Technology in Sydney, shared the advice his aunt gave him in an interview with The Daily Telegraph on Monday.
"She gave me a long list, an itinerary of what to do and what not to do, I can't remember it now but I have it at home," he said.
Princess Mary, who was born in Hobart and spent a majority of her life in Australia, knows a few "basic survival skills" to prevent unwanted animals from lurking.
"Basic 'survival skills', I would say clap your boots before putting them on, stuff like that, flush the toilet before you use it. I do not (want a snake or spider)," he added.
Count Nikolai is currently studying here with his girlfriend Benedikte Thoustrup.
The Count, is studying sales management, while Thoustrup is studying economics and business administration at the Copenhagen Business School, which is one of UTS' exchange partners for it's study abroad program.
The young royal has been enjoying his time in Australia, having recently celebrated his birthday in Byron Bay.
