Top 10 landmarks to visit in 2016
TripAdvisor has announced its top 10 landmarks to visit in 2016, and while the usual suspects are all in the list, there are a couple of interesting inclusions.
From Cambodia’s Angkor Wat, to Peru’s Machu Picchu and of course India’s Taj Mahal these spectacular landmarks inspire awe in anyone who visits them.

1. Angkor Wat – Siem Reap, Cambodia - This awe-inspiring temple is stunning, both for its grand scale and incredible level of detail. A truly memorable experience.
2. Machu Picchu – Peru - A view worth a thousand blisters, Machu Picchu is a complex Incan temple set high in the Andes that has captivated travellers for years.
3. Taj Mahal – Agra, India - This white Mausoleum on the south bank of the Yamuna River looms large over the city of Agra, making it a must-visit on an India trip.
4. Grand Mosque – Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates - Constructed from 1996 to 2007, this temple contrasts with the sometimes bleak desert landscape.
