Aussie Olympic hero reveals major health scare

Ariarne Titmus has opened up about a recent health scare, which prompted the 24-year-old Olympian to reassess her priorities.

In September 2023, Titmus revealed she had undergone surgery to remove a large growth found in her ovary.

She initially went for scans on a hip injury, before finding out that her ovary was "8.5×7cm in size and contained 2 benign tumours called dermoids, both 4cm in size".

Now in an interview with Inherited podcast, she has opened up about how much the ordeal affected her and forced her to make a major life decision during an Olympic campaign.

“It changed my perspective on life quite a lot actually,” she began.

“I’m stumped with this, it’s a bit of a freak out moment.

“The hardest part was going through all the tests, seeing how big it was, whether it was cancerous, how they were going to remove it.

“For me and where I want to go in my life, there was just no other option. I had to get it out.

“It put a lot of things into perspective for me. My body isn’t just a vehicle to train, my body’s purpose, really, is to carry a child one day.

“And that really hit home to me, it made me realise how much I want to be a mum, and it made swimming almost seem a bit irrelevant at the time.”

The four-time Olympic gold medallist had to spend several weeks out of the water to recover from the surgery and had to miss training in the lead up to the Paris Olympics.

“I think after that operation I just went crazy. It was really, really challenging," she said

“I was battling in my head, post-surgery, one side of me being like, ‘Let your body heal, let your body get better because you need to let yourself recover’. And then the other part of my brain was like, ‘No, you only have eight months (until the Olympics), you’ve got to get going’.

“I had my coach pushing me and every day checking, like, ‘How’s it feeling? How’s it feeling?’

“Because when you get your abdominal walls cut open, it takes a while to heal. And especially swimming, (which) is such a core-dominant sport.

“It was really, really, really challenging, but I’m actually glad it happened because it made me have a different outlook on life.”

She added that she would give up her swimming career to be a mum one day.

“I’ve always wanted to be a mum, but it probably made me realise how much I want it,” she said.

“I would give up every gold medal I’ve ever won to have a child.

“I just have such maternal instincts, and I think the fear of potentially that becoming harder by the prospect of losing the ovary was really tough.

“I’m so lucky that I’ve got the best mum in the world, and I just want to be that one day.”

Since her return from Paris, the Olympian said she would be taking a break from swimming for a year.

"I think I really just need a break away to reset and give my mind a bit of a rest.”

Images: Instagram

Serena Williams “mortified” by health scare

Serena Williams has undergone a procedure in hospital to remove a brachial cyst in her neck.

The tennis legend documented her health scare on TikTok, sharing how she ended up in surgery after doctors originally told her not to worry about it.

“A lot has been happening and I had surgery recently where I had to take some yucky medicine that I hated so much,” she said in a video.

“One day back in May, I found this big mass on my neck. I was mortified by it and I got tests done — everything you can imagine. Everything was negative."

“Turns out I have what’s called a cyst, a brachial cyst, to be exact."

“(Doctors) said I don’t need to get it removed if I don’t want. So, I did not get it (removed) but it kept growing."

“I decided to get more tests and, three tests and one biopsy later, everything was still negative, but doctors advised I get it removed as soon as possible because it was the size of a small grapefruit and it could get infected, or worse, leak.”

Williams then shared vision of the procedure she had to undergo to have it removed.

“So, I ended up having to get it removed. It was so big, it was the size of a grapefruit, and it kind of hurt at coming out,” she went on.

“Obviously I went under (general anesthetic) for it, but they had to put a drain in it because it was so much."

“But everything worked out and I feel really happy to have worked with some great doctors."

“A little scared here but excited to move on to the next steps of healing and doing well.”

The 43-year-old mother-of-two is still recovering from the operation, saying, “I am feeling so grateful, and fortunate everything worked out, and most of all I’m healthy."

Image credits: TikTok / Andrew Schwartz / Shutterstock Editorial

Biggest box office bombs revealed

The biggest box office bombs for 2023 have been revealed, with Disney dominating the list.

New data from Deadline reports that four Disney films ranked topped the list of movies with the highest studio net loss for 2023.

While the outlet reported that Disney typically “owns a majority of the year’s top 10 most profitable films thanks to Marvel movies,” that was not the case for 2023.

According to their calculations, superhero film The Marvels had a studio net loss of $A358 million, after only earning the franchise $71 million at the box office in its opening weekend, their lowest number to date.

In November 2023, Disney CEO Bob Iger addressed the box office blunder at The New York Times’ Dealbook Summit, saying that because the film was shot during covid, “there wasn’t as much supervision on the set, so to speak, where we have executives [that are] really looking over what’s being done day after day after day.”

Deadline claimed that another reason why the film flopped was because it "was trying to thread storylines from Disney+ shows like Ms. Marvel," which wasn't as well-received by fans compared to other series like Loki and WandaVision.

Iger shared the same belief, saying that Marvel’s mass of content on Disney+ "diluted focus and attention," contributing to the franchise's failure at the box office.

The Marvels was followed by The Flash, a Warner Bros. and DC production with a $234 million studio net loss.

Three other Disney films also made the list, with Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny coming in third place with a $216 million net loss, followed by Wish with a $198 million loss and Haunted Mansion with a $117 million loss.

Image: Getty

I don’t want to go anywhere. The most important thing in the world is making sure I help my seven-year-old daughter (Kelsey Lee) and I guess set a good example for her."

“To me, making sure I am putting sunscreen on so she can see it is not just me getting her to do it, it is dad doing it as well.”

Clarke has had a number of cancers removed since his first diagnosis in 2006, and just last year had a skin cancer removed from his forehead.

His extensive history of skin cancer could be a result of spending a lot of time in the sun over his 115 Tests and 245 one-day internationals for Australia, as Clarke pointed out.

For that reason, he has recently joined the Australian Skin Cancer Foundation as a national ambassador.

“I am excited to partner with the Australian Skin Cancer Foundation to not only spread the word on skin safety, but to help share the importance of sun protection, getting checked and remembering prevention is better than cure,” Clarke said in a statement.

“I know first-hand how important these factors are and I am passionate about raising awareness on this vital subject."

“Everyone needs to be aware of the danger of the sun all around the world, but particularly in this country. This is not just about being safe, this is about saving lives.”

Better Homes and Gardens star reveals health scare

Better Homes and Gardens star Melissa King has revealed the details of her "terrifying" health scare, which began with a series of migraines.

King wanted to keep her condition away from the public eye, until her face went into an uncontrollable spasm live during a broadcast segment on Sunrise.

The spasms have now become a part of Melissa's life, after she was diagnosed with a benign tumour on the lining of her brain.

Chatting candidly with Australian Women's Weekly, the mother-of-two revealed when she was diagnosed with the meningioma, and when she decided it was time to tell others about her health battle.

“I could feel the stretching and tightening as the right side of my face contorted, and I knew everyone watching at home could see it too,” she told the publication.

“That morning was awful. I could hear the producers say, ‘Melissa, are you okay?’”

Melissa first began experiencing migraines in her teenage years, before going to see a doctor in 2017 as they progressively got worse.

She was then referred to a neurologist, who recommended an MRI which revealed a meningioma, a non-cancerous tumour located in her brain lining, a discovery Melissa said was “terrifying,” despite her tumour being classified as benign.

Whilst a meningioma is most often benign - many people may have one without even knowing - in other cases it can be potentially life-threatening.

After her initial diagnosis, Melissa underwent six-monthly MRI scans to monitor her tumour, and for four years, it remained stable in size.

But in 2021, when Melissa had become a mother of two boys, Noah, now 11, and Marlon, nine, doctors had noticed her tumour had grown in size.

Doctors offered her one of two choices - brain surgery to remove it, or radiotherapy to shrink it.

She chose the "less invasive" option of radiotherapy, and incredibly, during a two-week break from work, she undertook her entire 15 sessions, heading off to the hospital each morning and coming home to sleep at night.

Relatively new to her role on Better Homes and Gardens, she decided to keep her health ordeal quiet.

“I just wanted to be able to take each step quietly with my family around me,” she told Australian Women’s Weekly.

“They wrapped me up in so much love and I felt very supported by them.”

Melissa said she also wanted to protect her boys, knowing that to them the word “tumour” would sound very scary.

After her appearance on Sunrise when the facial spasm took over, it was then Melissa decided it was time to tell her Better Homes and Gardens colleagues about what she’d been through.

“They’ve been amazing,” she said.

"Most of my segments are filmed so we can stop the camera if I need to wait until it passes."

“People have been incredibly understanding and supportive, and I’m so grateful.”

“It was a lot of trial and error for me, working out what triggered the migraines and what didn’t,” she said.

“(Now) I’m feeling really good and my health is great.”

However, the flight had to return to the airport's runway at 3.47pm, where it remained stationary for several hours as emergency vehicles stood by.

The arrest followed an alleged disturbance caused by a passenger on board. Finally, at around 6.30pm, passengers were able to disembark from the aircraft.

The Australian Federal Police have now revealed that the man had made claims of having explosives on the plane. The authorities charged the 45-year-old individual, a resident of Canberra, with making a false statement regarding threats to damage an aircraft of division three, and with failing to comply with safety instructions from cabin crew.

Video footage captured within the plane reportedly showed the man, who was carrying a backpack, making threats towards fellow passengers and crew members.

During the flight, passengers took to social media to share videos depicting the man raising his voice and displaying aggressive behaviour towards cabin crew and fellow travellers.

One passenger named Velutha Parambath shared on social media that approximately 30 minutes after takeoff, the individual began behaving disruptively, even becoming physically confrontational with other passengers.

Parambath noted that the man's actions escalated to include preaching about his religious beliefs. He added that the man had something in his hand, and his conversations with the crew were marked by statements like "I'm not afraid of dying" and "I've got things with me," which generated fear among those on board.

In the immediate aftermath, criticism emerged from several passengers aboard MH122 regarding the duration it took for the Australian Federal Police to arrest and remove the man from the aircraft once it returned to Sydney. In response, the AFP stated that an evacuation was initiated once it was determined safe for passengers and crew, leading to the man's arrest.

The Australian Federal Police took the lead in managing the situation, with the support of the New South Wales Police. NSW Police Commissioner Karen Webb defended the response, noting the volatile nature of the incident and the unpredictability of the situation.

"Given it's a volatile situation and [it's] unpredictable we didn't know the severity of the incident and you have to deal with what we learn about the passenger," she said. "We didn't know if there was a bomb."

"I praise the crew for what they did in keeping the passengers calm … to de-escalate the situation to the point that we got this matter resolved in three hours, I think three hours is pretty good.

"The protocol in Australia is to negotiate, we don't storm planes, this is not TV, it's not the movies we want to protect the lives of all passengers."

The incident caused significant disruptions to domestic travel at Sydney Airport, resulting in the cancellation of 32 flights and delays of up to 90 minutes. NSW Premier Chris Minns acknowledged the concerns about the AFP response and announced a review of the situation while highlighting that the resolution was achieved peacefully.

Image: Twitter

Brigitte Bardot's health scare

Emergency services have rushed to the home of Brigitte Bardot on Wednesday after she reportedly had trouble breathing.

The French icon's husband, Bernard d'Ormale, confirmed the news to local French publication Var-Matin.

"It was around 9am when Brigitte had trouble breathing," he told the outlet. He added that the ambulance service initially got the address wrong.

"Her breathing was stronger than usual but she did not lose consciousness. Let's call it a moment of respiratory distraction," he added.

Bardot's husband confirmed that the 88-year-old star is now recovering following the rescue intervention from paramedics, and said that she does not need further medical assistance.

He explained that Bardot had been complaining of excessive heat in the lead up to the emergency.

"Like all people of a certain age, she can no longer bear the heat. It happens at 88 years old", he said.

Bardot is one of the most well-known sex symbol of the 50s and 60s. She withdrew from the entertainment industry in 1973 and has since dedicated most of her life being an animal rights activist.

In 2012, she did an extremely rare interview with Vogue Homme where she revealed the reason why she quit film.

"No one can imagine how awful it was. A nightmare. I just couldn't live like that anymore," she recalled.

"I quit the films when I was 38 because I'd had it up to here, so I have no desire to go back."

Image: Getty

‘Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds’: who was atom bomb pioneer Robert Oppenheimer?

Darius von Guttner Sporzynski, Australian Catholic University

Robert Oppenheimer is often placed next to Albert Einstein as the 20th century’s most famous physicist.

He will forever be the “father of the atomic bomb” after the first nuclear weapon was successfully tested on July 16, 1945 in the New Mexican desert. The event brought to his mind words from a Hindu scripture: “Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds”.

Who was Robert Oppenheimer?

Born in 1904 in an affluent New York family, Oppenheimer graduated from Harvard majoring in chemistry in 1925.

Two years later, he completed his PhD in physics at one of the world’s leading institutions for theoretical physics, the University of Göttingen, Germany. He was 23 and enthusiastic to the point of alienating others.

Throughout his life, Oppenheimer would be judged either as an aloof prodigy or an anxious narcissist. Whatever his contradictions as an individual, his eccentricities did not limit his scientific achievements.

Before the outbreak of the second world war, Oppenheimer worked at the University of California, Berkeley, and the California Institute of Technology. His research concentrated on theoretical astronomy, nuclear physics and quantum field theory.

Although he confessed to being uninterested in politics, Oppenheimer openly supported socially progressive ideas. He was concerned with the emergence of antisemitism and fascism. His partner, Kitty Puening, was a left-leaning radical and their social circle included Communist Party members and activists. Later, these associations will mark him as a communist sympathiser.

As a researcher, Oppenheimer published and supervised a new generation of doctoral students. One of these was Willis Lamb, who in 1955 was awarded the Nobel Prize in physics. The Nobel Prize eluded Oppenheimer three times.

The second world war

Two years after Germany and Soviet Russia attacked Poland, the United States entered WWII. Oppenheimer was recruited to work on the infamous Manhattan Project. His ideas about chain reaction in an atomic bomb gained recognition among the US defence community. He started his work by assembling a team of experts. Some of them were his students.

In 1943, despite his left-wing political views, lack of high-profile career and no experience in managing complex projects, Oppenheimer was appointed director of the Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico. He was enthusiastic. He seemed to have “reserves of uncommitted strength” recalled physicist Isidor Isaac Rabi. His task was to develop atomic weapons.

Los Alamos Laboratory expanded rapidly as the project grew in complexity, with the personnel exceeding 6,000. His ability to master the large-scale workforce and channel their energy towards the needs of the project earned him respect.

He proved to be more than just an administrator by being involved in the interdisciplinary team across theoretical and experimental stages of the weapons development.

The nuclear test

On July 16, 1945 the nuclear test, code named Trinity, took place.

The first atomic bomb was successfully detonated at 5:29 am in the Jornada del Muerto desert. As his chief assistant, Thomas Farrell, recounted: "There came this tremendous burst of light followed shortly thereafter by the deep growling roar of the explosion."

Oppenheimer later recalled that “a few people laughed, a few people cried, most people were silent”. What he knew for sure was that the world would not be the same.

It was too late for the atomic bombs to be used against Germany in the war – the Nazis had capitulated on May 8. Instead, US President Harry Truman decided to use the bomb against Germany’s ally, Japan.

Shortly after the atomic bombs were dropped on the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in August 1945, Oppenheimer confronted the US secretary of war, Henry Stimson, demanding that nuclear weapons were banned.

Similarly, when speaking with Truman, Oppenheimer talked about his feeling of having blood on his hands. Truman rejected Oppenheimer’s emotional outburst. The responsibility for the use of the atomic bombs, after all, rested with the commander in chief (himself).

Truman’s rebuttal did not prevent Oppenheimer from advocating for the establishment of controls on the nuclear arms race.

Arms control

In the postwar years, Oppenheimer settled in Princeton, New Jersey, at the Institute for Advanced Study. He read widely. He collected art and furniture. He learned languages. His well-paid position enabled his pursuit of a deeper understanding of humanity though the examination of ancient scriptures. He argued for the unity of purpose between the sciences and humanities.

Oppenheimer’s patronage supported and encouraged other scientists in their research. But his chief concern was the unavoidable arms race. He advocated for the establishment of an international body that would control the development of nuclear energy and its usage.

In 1947, a civilian agency called the Atomic Energy Commission began its work. Oppenheimer urged strongly for international arms control.

The Soviet Union’s first atomic bomb test in August 1949 took the US by surprise and pushed American researchers to develop a hydrogen bomb. The US government hardened its position. In 1952, Truman refused to reappoint Oppenheimer as the adviser to the Atomic Energy Commission.

After 1952, Oppenheimer’s advocacy against the first test of the hydrogen bomb resulted in the suspension of his security clearance. The investigation that followed in 1954 exposed Oppenheimer’s past communist ties and culminated in his security clearance being revoked.

McCarthyism and academic freedom

In the era of Joseph McCarthy’s witch-hunts, his fellow scientists considered Oppenheimer as a martyr of the cause of academic freedom. “In England”, commented Wernher von Braun, a former Nazi turned American pioneer of rocket technology, “Oppenheimer would have been knighted”.

After 1954, Oppenheimer did not cease to advocate for freedom in the pursuit of knowledge. He toured internationally with talks about the role of academic freedom unrestrained by political considerations. He argued that the sciences and the humanities are not separate human endeavours but interlocked and inseparable.

Oppenheimer died at the age of 62 on February 18, 1967.<!-- Below is The Conversation's page counter tag. Joh Griggs’ warning following husband’s health scare

Better Homes and Gardens host Johanna Griggs has shared an update after her husband's health scare.

Late last year her husband Todd Huggins was diagnosed with a basal cell carcinoma, but the “simple surgery” led to complications which resulted in a bad infection.

Speaking to 7News, the TV personality provided an update on how her husband is doing and a reminder for all Australians.

“He had a skin cancer removed and they didn’t get enough of the margins around it, so when he went back in, he managed to pick up a random infection, which is not uncommon in hospitals,” she said.

“He absolutely lucked out; it was very hairy stuff for a couple of weeks.

“But he’s back, fighting fit, 100 per cent again,” Joh added.

Joh looked at the positive side of things despite everything and said that the situation served as a reminder for her to get her skin checked, which she’s now encouraging other Australians to do.

“If anything, I think it was an apt time to remind people to go and get their skin checked,” she said.

“I think that was one of the things during COVID that fell off the radar - people getting breast checks and skin checks, going to the dentist, all the health things that we are usually in the habit of doing regularly.

“But during COVID, those health services weren’t as easily available, or people were concerned about going out.

“We used to be so vigilant with skin checks because of my background in sport and with health - you didn’t want to miss anything.

“But we realised he hadn’t actually gone and had a skin check throughout the duration of COVID,” she revealed the impact of the pandemic on her personal life.

Joh spends a lot of her time outdoors, both as part of her job as the host of Better Homes and Gardens and in her everyday life, so the TV personality is taking sun protection more seriously - especially after her husband’s recent health scare.

“It was a chance to say to people, ‘hey listen, put it back on your agenda and make it a priority’.”

Images: Instagram

"It was traumatic": Nat Barr's terrifying health scare

Natalie Barr has opened up about a terrifying health ordeal that left her wondering if she would ever walk again.

The Sunrise host shared that she spent two months lying in a hospital bed when she was just 15, after being diagnosed with a terrifying illness.

Speaking candidly to Sunday Life, the 55-year-old revealed she wasn't allowed to sit up for months.

"I got really sick with a disease in my spine called osteomyelitis. The bug had eaten two of my verterbrae and they were crumbling," she said.

"I'd had back pain and saw a physio who wrote to my doctor... but that night I ended up in hospital with an orthopaedic surgeon telling me: 'Lie down, or you'll never sit up again'."

While having to lay flat for months on end, Nat was flown by the Royal Flying Doctor to a Perth hospital where they discovered the exact strain of the bug she had.

Natalie was then "pumped with high-dose antibiotics" for the next couple of months before eventually recovering with no permanent damage.

"It was traumatic. I didn't know if I'd be able to walk again," she admitted.

"It was a really defining moment in my life because I was 15 and old enough to think, ‘I don’t know how I’m going to get out of this situation.’ ”

The health scare was a major turning point in Natalie's life, as once she was fully recovered from the ordeal, she went on to intern at a local TV station in Western Australia where she cemented her dream of becoming a journalist.

“I spent a week there and thought, ‘This is it. This is what I want to do for the rest of my life.’ It’s the most exciting thing: people race around, yell and scream at each other, race to the deadline at the end of the day, then come back and do it all again tomorrow."

I needed less pain medication because I was getting better, my head fog cleared, and I was no longer thinking about the pain."

"What a FIGHTER!": Susan Boyle reveals secret health scare during comeback

Singing sensation Susan Boyle surprised her fans with an unexpected appearance on Britain’s Got Talent for the competition’s extravagant final.

Boyle, who had previously appeared on the show herself in 2009, took to the stage with the cast of the West End’s Les Miserables for a performance of the song ‘I Dreamed a Dream’ - the same one she auditioned with when she was a competitor.

And fans were treated to one more song, with the ensemble joining Boyle for a rendition of ‘Do You Hear The People Sing?’ too.

Once the crowd’s delighted applause had quietened, Britain’s Got Talent hosts Ant and Dec approached Boyle, gushing over her as they welcomed her back to the stage.

“It is so lovely to see you,” Dec declared. “It’s hard to believe you appeared on this show in 2009 - fourteen years ago. How does it feel to be back at BGT?”

“It feels great,” Susan told him, to further cheering from the audience.

She went on to share that the whole affair was “extra special” to her, before revealing that “last April there, I suffered a minor stroke.”

The theatre was quiet, everyone taken by surprise, before Boyle announced that she’d “fought like crazy to get back on stage, and I have done it.”

As Dec shared that they were “thrilled” to hear of her triumphant return, cheers rang out once again, and applause echoed throughout the room in celebration of Boyle.

When judge Simon Cowell - who was present for Boyle’s audition as well - was asked how it felt to see her back on the stage, he noted that it was “unbelievable”.

“Susan, we owe you so much,” he said, “and I knew you weren't well, but if anyone was going to come back, you were going to come back, because we wouldn't be the same without you. You are amazing."

And when clips from her performance, and following reveal, made it online, fans wasted no time in sharing their love and support for the singer.

“Huge huge respect for Susan Boyle,” one wrote. “Post stroke and absolutely smashing it on BGT tonight! Incredible!”

“Good for her! Great to see her back!” another said. “Never ever be defined by an illness or disability. Never.”

“Aww! Susan Boyle is an absolute superstar in every sense of the word, so humble,” one gushed. “It’s so good to see her back with her microphone!”

And as someone else put it, “bless Susan Boyle, she spent her entire life not realising her full potential as a West End singer, to then go on to be one of the biggest stars to come out of #BGT. Her performance tonight had passion; she has real HEART and her having a stroke last year - what a FIGHTER!”

⭐ STAGEY SMILE OF THE DAY ⭐

Here's Lucie Jones & Susan Boyle performing "I Dreamed A Dream" from Les Misérables, for the BGT grand final 🇫🇷 ✨ X x x pic.twitter.com/nmIB5eo29c

— Theatre Fan (@ShaunTossell) June 4, 2023

Images: Twitter

Buckingham Palace in ‘total lockdown’ due to 'loud explosion'

Buckingham Palace has been placed under lockdown after a man reportedly threw shotgun cartridges at the royal residence.

International and British media surrounding the palace grounds were evacuated from the area amid the security scare, and a man has since been arrested – with BBC news reporting a controlled explosion was executed by specialists as a precautionary measure.

Initial reports suggested King Charles was in residence during the incident, however, the Washington Post has confirmed he was just nearby with Queen Consort Camilla at Clarence House.

According to the Metropolitan Police, the man was found to be in possession of a suspicious bag and was arrested on suspicion of carrying an offensive weapon.

Speaking to news.com.au workers on the grounds said they heard a “loud bang” around 8pm. They also said the palace was not evacuated but surrounding media outside were cleared from the premises.

The Mall, the street which lines from the palace to Trafalgar Square, is cordoned off from the public. Police are telling people in the area that the road is blocked off for a scheduled coronation rehearsal.

British politician Jacob Rees-Mogg was in the area when the incident occurred and told GB News he was waiting to go on-air to discuss the upcoming coronation.

“People came to us using yellow tabards to say there was an incident and we all had to go. Just an element, of I fear, not ‘keep calm and carry on’ [but] ‘let’s hustle and bustle’.”

Ben Briscoe, GB News’ Head of Programming, also told the program, “There was definitely a very, very loud explosion … As it stands the Palace and the surrounding areas are in total lockdown and it doesn’t look like it is going to be lifted anytime soon.”

The royal standard, which signifies when the monarch is in residence, was not seen above the palace the following day but has since been erected on the roof.

The incident comes as Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese was one of the first dignitaries to meet the King ahead of the coronation, with his arrival at the palace on May 2.

It is believed the lockdown has since been lifted as investigations proceed.
